1387585419CORNELIUS, NC - For the seventh consecutive year, Lake Norman Realty has been honored as a top-ranked finalist in the Charlotte Business Journal's annual "Best Places to Work" contest. This year the firm placed third among twenty-seven participants in the Mid-Sized Business category for the Charlotte Metro region. Lake Norman Realty’s President, Abigail Jennings, accepted the award at the Best Places to Work luncheon held at the Charlotte Convention Center on Friday, November 15th, 2013.

When asked about Lake Norman Realty’s consistent success in the “Best Places to Work” contest, Jennings credited her understanding of the value that her associates’ feedback provides for the company. “I believe we are all in this together, company leadership and associates alike,” she said. “If it were not for our associates’ creative insight and constant efforts to make this a better company, Lake Norman Realty would not be what it is today. We all share the same goals, beliefs and values, at heart. This creates the family atmosphere and spirit of camaraderie which we are known for.” Other ways in which Jennings keeps her associates engaged is by providing them with the latest tools and technology. In 2013, Lake Norman Realty released a cutting-edge social media and marketing platform, as well as a new comprehensive training program. The new training provides their associates insight to real estate methods to excel in their profession.

Since 2006, Charlotte Business Journal has conducted their annual "Best Places to Work" contest to celebrate companies that create workplaces valued by their employees. Results are based on employee feedback from detailed online surveys facilitated by Quantum Workplace, an independent human-resources survey company based in Wichita, Kansas. Each of the honored companies has found innovative ways to keep employees happy and engaged. Also, their benefits, policies, and practices are among the area’s best. Business categories are small (10 to 49 employees), mid-sized (50 to 249 employees), and large (250 or more employees). This year, seventy-seven companies in the Charlotte region were selected as “Best Places to Work” qualifiers.

In 2013, Lake Norman Realty marks its 35th year of excellence serving the Lake Norman community as a one-stop shop for real estate transactions. With offices in Cornelius, Mooresville, Davidson, Denver, and Statesville, the firm focuses on the Lake Norman region from Statesville to Charlotte. In addition to its full-service real estate services, Lake Norman Realty also offers in-house mortgages, insurance, a full spectrum of property leasing and management, and complete commercial and relocation services.
