PIEDMONT, CA – One hundred percent of the agents in Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Highland Partners participated in charitable causes in Piedmont, Oakland and Berkeley during 2013.
“We are out in the communities we serve every day, and when we see a need, we do our best to fill it,” said Heidi Marchesotti, Partner with Highland Partners. “With involvement in over 40 active charity organizations, we are very proud of the work our agents are doing in the communities they serve.”
Some of the organizations that Highland Partners agents and their families participated in during 2013 include: Sponsor of The Boys and Girls Clubs of Oakland 75th Anniversary Gala on December 6, Sponsor of The Holy Ball for Cancer League, Children’s Hospital of Oakland, Oakland Playworks, Oakland, Berkeley and Piedmont public schools, various children’s sports organizations, the East Bay Agency for Children and more.
“All of our agents are totally engaged in giving back to the community, and they carefully chose organizations that are close to their heart, to truly make a difference,” said Partner Debbi DiMaggio.
In addition to donating financial support, the agents at Highland Partners also donated their time for causes such as cleaning and maintaining the campuses for Boys and Girls Clubs of Oakland, participating in Habitat for Humanity, working at various food banks or cleaning up Montclair Park, Lake Merritt and other neighborhoods.
