Luxury Real Estate and Ewing & Clark, Inc Team Up to Make Christmas 2006 a Memorable Event

Seattle, Wash., Jan. 3, 2007— During the 2006 holiday season, Ewing and Clark, Inc. and LuxuryRealEstate.com collaborated to bring Christmas joy to many at-risk and low-income families in the Seattle area. Through the drive, the companies raised more than $6,500 for an Angel Tree program with Immaculate Conception Parish in Seattle, Wash., and eight families at the Pike Market Child Care and Preschool and J.J. McGilvra Elementary School in Seattle’s Madison Park neighborhood. “I am pleased that my companies can make such a generous and personal contribution,” says John Brian Losh, CEO/publisher of LuxuryRealEstate.com and broker, chairman and CEO of Ewing and Clark, Inc.For the past 11 years, the companies have been giving back to the community at large, but this was by far the largest contribution. The companies competed amongst themselves to see which team could raise the most money, and the total was matched by Losh. “Giving back to our communities is one of the most important things we in the luxury real estate industry can do,” he says. Losh personally delivers the presents, donning a Santa Claus costume. His wife, Besty Q. Terry, a luxury specialist with Ewing & Clark, Inc., participates as one of Santa’s elves.
