CORNELIUS, NC - Lake Norman Realty’s broker associate, Kay Davis, has been appointed to serve on the North Carolina Association of REALTORS® (NCAR) Forms Committee for the 2013-14 term. Davis was appointed by the current Chair, Rick Westover. This will be her ninth year serving on the committee. This committee is responsible for reviewing and developing the standard residential real estate forms used by REALTORS® across the state of North Carolina. The NCAR Forms Committee’s first meeting with be held on September 9, 2013 at the NC Association of REALTORS® office in Greensboro.
“I truly enjoy serving on the NCAR Forms Committee” remarks Davis. “Having been involved on several local boards, past and present, this is a great opportunity to serve at a state level. This committee is one of the first parties informed of changes and I am able to foresee how they will affect the industry. Also, I am able to get to know the other committee members on a personal level, which helps support my networking within the industry.”
Davis has been licensed as a broker by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission since 1991. She was the Director of the NCAR for five years, in addition to serving on numerous boards such as the Lincoln County Board of REALTORS®, REALTORS® Political Action Committee, NC Real Estate Education Foundation, and Carolina Multiple Listing Service. Davis has also been President of the Lincoln County Board of REALTORS® for two terms and currently serves as Vice President. She has earned several designations including; Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Certified Residential Broker (CRB), and is also licensed in South Carolina.
