Charity brings cheer to Head Start kids

In a way that would have made Santa proud, the kids swooped in, got their toys and a snack, and were gone in little more than a blink of the eye.
One busload at a time, nearly 1,200 kids from 11 Palm Beach County Head Start programs, which provides preschool and child care for low-income families, were escorted into the North Palm Beach Country Club's Village Green Restaurant on Friday morning.
