Moore steps into her position at Saunders & Associates with a real estate career that spans 30 years, with loyal client relationships to support it. A natural communicator with a past in public relations, Moore’s method to real estate – making it a simple, successful and stress-free process for her clients – has given her a well-deserved reputation with clients and throughout the industry. Moore is a resident of Shelter Island, where she had specialized in local real estate for Corcoran and was one of the top five percent of brokers company-wide.
As an enthusiast of fine arts, Moore began her career in entertainment and worked in the public relations department for the American Film Institute at the Kennedy Center, dabbled in talent relations at a notable Manhattan agency, and worked at the Screen Actors Guild for more than 10 years before redirecting her career to real estate in 1989. She combined her artistic sensibilities and turned her love of buildings, design and architecture into a career in commercial real estate running a successful midtown executive suite called Corporate Executive Offices. She also handled all facets of sales and marketing for Executive Systems International as executive director. She worked with The Lawrence Group, LLC and as a tenant broker, moved tenants ranging from creative companies to law firms into office and loft space. As a Landlord's Agent, she handled buildings in Soho and the Flatiron district.
After visiting the tranquil Shelter Island in 1995, Moore was enamored by the area and quickly bought a home. Two years later, Moore began selling residential real estate on the island and became known for understanding the unique qualities inherent in the Shelter Island Market. She has since been honored as Rookie of the Year, as well as a top producer every year for her exceptional service and results. Most impressively, she has handled two transactions that were each the highest sale on Shelter Island in its history.
Not only is she committed to her work as a broker, Moore also is a member of The Women's Council of Realtors, the Council of Residential Specialists, and has certifications as a Short Sale and Foreclosure Specialist, Certified Buyer Representative and a Certified Eco-Broker.
Saunders is the fastest growing real estate firm in the Hamptons and has established itself as a powerful player in the industry, adding Moore as its 100th broker.
