Steamboat Springs, CO— Kevin Dietrich and Nancy Westphale are the newest broker/owners at Colorado Group Realty, Steamboat Springs’ largest independent real estate company.
Kevin grew up in Buffalo, NY, skiing on the slopes of Holiday Valley Ski Resort in the Alleghany Mountains. He moved to Steamboat Springs permanently, after spending several winter and summer vacations in Colorado, in 2002. An Elementary Education and English major, from St. Bonaventure University, he spent time post-graduation in Ireland and traveling Europe.
Prior to becoming a broker in 2007, Kevin worked with the Buffalo, NY school district before relocating to Steamboat. After 4 years as a senior manager with the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation, he chose to pursue real estate as his full time career.
Kevin is E-PRO certified, which means he is skilled in applying advanced technologies and social media strategies to his business plan capabilities, increasing his reach and building trust with his customers. He was recently bestowed with the 2012 Colorado Group Realty’s Rising Star award.

Nancy Westphale moved to Steamboat Springs 16 years ago to fulfill a lifelong dream of living and working in a mountain resort town. She initially worked as a ski instructor, and was instrumental in starting STARS, Steamboat Team Adaptive Recreational Sports, a non-profit organization that raises funds for scholarships and equipment for folks that enjoy adaptive skiing. Nancy was also on the Founding Board of the Steamboat Art Museum.
“I was one who came for a year and decided to make Steamboat Springs my permanent home. I had property management and commercial real estate in my background and it was a natural transition for me to represent buyers and sellers in the Yampa Valley. My passion for living and playing here is translated into my passion for assisting others in making this amazing place their home or second home.
