Sixth annual East West Partner’s “Hoedown” raises $56,000 for local charities

The Youth Foundation, First Descents and Think First each benefit from the event Eagle County, CO (December 2006) – East West Partners and its sister companies – Slifer Smith and Frampton Real Estate, Colorado Mountain Express, Allegria Spa and East West Resorts -- are pleased to announce that their sixth annual “East West Hoedown” raised $56,000 for three Eagle County charities. The event has raised more than $250,000 for various youth programs and other charitable causes throughout Eagle County since 2000. This year’s beneficiaries included The Youth Foundation, First Descents and Think First.“The Hoedown is a great way to support youth throughout the Vail Valley, and give to the programs that help our young people to succeed,” said Amy Reid, East West Partners Hoedown Committee Chairperson. “Our companies have always been proud supporters of the entire community, and this event is a tremendous way to show our support in a fun, ‘Western” atmosphere!”More than 400 people attended this year’s Hoedown, and contributed the record setting dollar amount for the event.The East West Hoedown will include a Silent Auction, dinner, dancing and entertainment. Last year’s event raised over $55,000 for The Snowboard Outreach Society, The Salvation Army and Mountain Valley Developmental Services.
