Daniel Gale Sotheby’s Names Deirdre O’Connell General Sales Manager for Organization

1360260478Cold Spring Harbor, New York – Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty (DGSIR), one of the nation’s leading realtors, has named Deirdre O'Connell General Sales Manager. Patricia J. Petersen, President and CEO of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty, made the announcement.

Speaking at the organization’s 2013 Manager's Annual Kick Off meeting, Ms. Petersen said of Ms. O’Connell, who already holds a SVP position and is a Regional Sales Manager, “Deirdre’s industry expertise and vast knowledge of the North Shore of Long Island continues to be a tremendous asset to Daniel Gale Sotheby’s. As part of our strategic planning group, Deirdre’s contributions and leadership have been evident, and we look forward to her ongoing participation. In this newly created position Deirdre will be able to employ her skills across the entire organization so that all offices can reach their full potential.”

1360260511A native of the North Fork and longtime Manhasset resident, Deirdre O’Connell first joined forces with DGSIR in 2007, when the real estate firm she founded under her name was acquired as part of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s expansion in Manhasset and subsequent entry into the North Fork market. At that time, Deirdre was made a Vice President and teamed with SVP’s Carol Tintle and Dougall Fraser to build Daniel Gale Sotheby’s East End market presence. In addition, she assumed sales management responsibilities at the newly expanded Manhasset office, which continues to be one of the organization’s top producing offices. As General Sales Manager, Deirdre will continue to manage DGSIR’s Manhasset office and give advice and counsel to the other offices she currently oversees. She will report directly to Patricia Petersen.
