1358812972Fort Lee, NJ – Sales Associate Joshua Baris of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Fort Lee is being honored by New Jersey Monthly Magazine as one of its Five Star Real Estate Agents for the second year in a row. Baris is one of 1,025 licensed New Jersey real estate agents receiving the award in 2013; fewer than 2 percent of the state’s 80,700 agents are being recognized.

According to independent surveyor Five Star Professional, recipients were selected as the result of “a rigorous research process that included a regulatory and consumer complaint review, and an evaluation of objective criteria associated with real estate agents who provide quality services to their clients.” One-quarter of New Jersey homeowners who purchased their properties between September 2011 and May 2012 were contacted to rate their real estate agents in categories such as market knowledge, negotiating skill and whether they would recommend the agent to others.

“To achieve this honor two years in a row is a testament to the constant hard work and commitment Joshua offers his clients,” said Juan Rivera, branch vice president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Fort Lee.

He also won the New Jersey Association of Realtors (NJAR) Circle of Excellence Award for his 2011 performance.

Active in his professional community, Baris was elected in 2011 as vice-chair of the Young Professionals Network for the Eastern Bergen County Board of Realtors (EBCBOR) and selected by the New Jersey Multiple Listing Service (NJMLS) to sit on their Technology Committee for 2011 and 2012.
