The waterfront property located on the Great Salt Pond, sold for $4,200,000, making it the highest transaction on Block Island and one of the top three in Washington County this year to date.

This unique 4,400 sq. ft. post and beam home is situated on beautiful Cormorant Cove in the Great Salt Pond, with a private sandy beach. The home is constructed of recycled beams from a 1920’s RR bridge, and features a dramatic stone fireplace and countless windows to enjoy the fabulous views.

Named one of the "last great places" in the northern hemisphere by the Nature Conservancy, Block Island is located 12 miles off coastal Rhode Island. This unique island possesses 17 miles of pristine beaches, spectacular 200' ocean bluffs, winding roads, and 25 miles of walking trails, as well as being home to many rare and endangered plants and animals.
