Chase International and Boy Scouts Team Up for Food Drive

(LAKE TAHOE, Nevada) – Chase International, the leader in luxury real estate and headquartered in Lake Tahoe, has teamed up with the Boys Scouts of America in the Lake Tahoe and Reno regions to collect non-perishables for area community food banks. The food will be distributed locally to those in need during the holiday periods.“Chase International has been a long-time partner of area non-profit organizations and a champion of local causes,” Diane Brown, of Chase International’s Incline Village office, said. “As the Pack 37 Cub Scout Committee Chair, I wanted to bring a new element to the company’s giving and a food drive was the perfect opportunity.”Titled the “Scouting for Food” campaign, boy scouts are leaving door hangers about how to donate on homes throughout Lake Tahoe, Truckee and Reno. The scouts will be back to collect the food items, donated in plastic or paper bags, Saturday, November 11. Items needed include canned meat and fish, nuts, peanut butter, dry pasta, powdered milk, baby formula, baby food, stews and soups, chili, canned fruits and juice, oatmeal, rice and other non-perishables, non-frozen items (no items packed in glass).Participants can also drop off donated items at all six Chase International offices located at 190 Highway 50, Zephyr Cove, Nevada; 2070 Pray Meadow Road, Glenbrook, Nevada; 917 Tahoe Boulevard, Incline Village, Nevada; 985 Damonte Ranch Parkway, Reno, Nevada; 10007 Bridge Street, Truckee, California; and 305 West Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City, California.
