The new app, which is free of charge, allows visitors to tour the City by the Sea either remotely or in person; learn about sites as diverse as "The Breakers", "Cardines Field" and "Touro Synogouge". Unlike most mobile apps, Explore Historic Newport is designed to work on any platform that accesses the web, such as a smart phone, tablet or desktop computer. Several launch events are scheduled to take place in Newport later this month.
