Homesteaders, the volunteer support auxiliary for Family Homestead, will host its 5th Annual LoDo Loft Tour on Sunday, July 22, 2012 from 2-5 p.m. The fundraising event, co-sponsored by Kentwood City Properties, will start at the Wynkoop Brewery Mercantile Room in Lower Downtown Denver at 1792 Wynkoop Street. Tickets are $20 per person. Five distinctive homes will be showcased on the tour. In addition, Dee Chirafisi, Broker Associate and co-owner of Kentwood City Properties, will have several of her listings available for viewing during the tour.
A VIP reception for a limited number of guests will be held at the Waterside Lofts, 1401 Wewatta, from 5-7 p.m. Tickets are $100 per person, with food provided by Osteria Marco, wine and backpack punch from Coohills, and desserts from the Cake Bar…all generously donated. Guests will also enjoy a stunning penthouse offering panoramic mountain views and city vistas. The event’s beneficiary, Family Homestead, is a not-for-profit organization that provides emergency and transitional housing and case management for more than 225 Denver-area homeless families with children.
“We can’t think of a better way to enjoy a lazy summer afternoon while benefitting a great cause,” said Kathryn Dunleavey, Loft Tour Chair. “The tour has become a signature event for Family Homestead and now accounts for close to 10 percent of the organization’s annual budget.”
