Washington Fine Properties Leads in Capitol Region Luxury Home Sales

1339521539Washington, DC – Washington Fine Properties leads the luxury market in the Capitol Region with sales of two of the highest-priced homes in 2012 to date. Halcyon House, the magnificent historic Georgetown estate, sold for $11,000,000 with WFP representing both the buyer and seller. In Massachusetts Avenue Heights, Northwest Washington, DC, WFP sold 2991 Woodland Drive for $6,900,000, a landmark home designed in 1936 by world-renowned architect John Russell Pope. Pope designed many of Washington’s greatest architectural icons including the Jefferson Memorial and the National Gallery of Art.

In May 2012, Real Trends 500 ranked Washington Fine Properties as the number one Firm in the United States with the “Highest Closed Sales Volume Per Sales Associate” as well as by “Highest Average Sales Price” for 2011.
