DENVER – Dirk Andringa, an experienced real estate professional and former owner of the Downtown Resource Group real estate company, has joined Kentwood City Properties in downtown Denver as a Broker Associate. Andringa brings a wealth of experience in finance and commercial brokerage to Kentwood City, in addition to extensive knowledge of the Denver loft and condominium market.
“We are delighted to welcome Dirk to our top-producing team of real estate professionals,” said Dee Chirafisi, Broker Associate and co-owner of Kentwood City Properties. “I have had the pleasure of working with Dirk on some real estate transactions over the past few years and he is a true professional. His clients hold him in the highest regard and Dirk will be a great addition to our team.”
Andringa earned his real estate license in 1991 and is a member of the Denver Board of Realtors. He earned his Series 7 Securities License and Series 66 Investment Representative License and worked as a Stock Broker and Investment Advisor prior to pursuing a career in real estate.
Andringa founded the Downtown Resource Group in 2009, a full-service real estate firm offering a special emphasis on the downtown loft and condo market. As a facet to the company, he also facilitated the leasing of more than $50 million worth of downtown property, a background that is of particular importance to investor clients. Andringa’s professional experience also includes executive positions with two international non-profit organizations.
“I’m passionate about downtown,” said Andringa. “The numerous variables and nuances found in an urban environment, and the knowledge required to represent clientele effectively, is dramatically different from what’s required in a more traditional suburban market. I chose Kentwood City Properties because of the company’s stellar reputation in the heart of the city, their deep bench of highly experienced brokers, and their unparalleled marketing success. The leadership team is exceptional and the family-like environment allows me to perform at my best. I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else and I probably should’ve made the move sooner.”
Andringa is an active supporter of the Downtown Denver Partnership, the LoDo District Association, the Lower Downtown Neighborhood Association, and the Ballpark Neighborhood Association. He also supports the Denver Rescue Mission, Urban Peak, Pathways Church, and has helped develop a mentoring program for at-risk youth with Denver Works.
