On April 22, 2012 Lake Norman Realty will celebrate “Earth Day-Founder’s Day” in honor of Lake Norman Realty’s late founder, James Jennings. This community outreach event will be held at all five of Lake Norman Realty offices to help our community “Think Green!” and will feature green crafts for children, free rain barrel giveaway, free seed packets, and local organizations. The event will be held from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm and is free to the public.
Lake Norman Realty’s President, Abigail Jennings, remembers, “My father's birthday was on Earth Day. This was fitting as he cared deeply about protecting the natural beauty of our region, and was a strong advocate of keeping Lake Norman pristine. My father also loved planting and could always see the potential in a seedling, excitedly sharing his vision of the mature plant or grown tree with those around him. At our Earth Day-Founder's Day Celebration we are giving seeds to the public in his memory to help encourage our community to get 'earthy' on Earth Day."
