David Boehmig Installed as 2005 Atlanta Board of Realtors President

Atlanta, Dec. 22 – The Atlanta Board of Realtors has elected a new president for 2005: David Boehmig.

He is the general manager and chief operating officer of Jenny Pruitt & Associates.

He installed on Dec. 1, during the Atlanta board's year-end business meeting and luncheon held at the Piedmont Driving Club in Buckhead, Ga.

Boehmig is the board's 79th president.

Boehmig has been involved on the board of directors for the Atlanta Board and served on numerous committees over the years. His professional volunteerism has also extended to the state level, where he chaired the Georgia Association of Realtors Technology Committee in 2004.

"It was truly an honor to step into this leadership role for the Atlanta Board of Realtors," Boehmig said.

Boehmig's goals and initiatives for the year will include focusing on and expanding the board's programs and initiatives, leadership development among existing members, and continued focus on technology and political issues affecting real estate.

A native Atlantan now residing in Duluth, Boehmig graduated from Pace Academy and earned a bachelor's degree in finance from Georgia State University. He has been with Jenny Pruitt & Associates since 1997. Prior to that, David spent 10 years in banking, specializing in real estate and business financing. He is a licensed Broker Associate and holds both the Certified Residential Broker (CRB) and the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designations.
