Sanibel Island, FL, - February 15, 2012 – Don DeLuca, Broker of Royal Shell Real Estate, has announced that top producing agents, Kurt Petersen, Sally Hunt, Beth James, Sue Ellen Mathers, Annette Villano, The Lewis Team, Robert Nemec, Cory Lauer, Jayne Bockholt, and Rick Walkenhorst have all joined Royal Shell Real Estate.
Kurt Petersen was previously affiliated with Blue Zone International Properties. He has been a Naples resident for 30 years and has gained an intimate knowledge of the Naples area. He was the top agent for Florida’s largest privately held real estate developer. Kurt has sold over 150 million dollars in residential real estate and has won several Top-Producer awards.
Sally Hunt was previously affiliated with VIP Realty Group. Sally has been a Fort Myers resident for 40 years and has been a trusted real estate professional for 25 years. Sally is excited to once again join her son, Mike McMurray and the McMurray & Nette Team at their new home with Royal Shell. As the proud monarch of the McMurray name and a family of top producing real estate professionals, Sally has built a reputation for her family of having a strong work ethic based on integrity and trust that has brought her to where she is today. When she’s not working, Sally enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.
Beth James was previously affiliated with Keller Williams Elite Realty. Beth began her real estate career in Nashville, Tennessee, where she worked for the first franchised office of Better Homes and Gardens. She went on to work as a non-profit administrator at Ford’s Theatre in Washington D.C. and affiliated with Coldwell Banker on Capitol Hill where she had the opportunity to work with members of Congress and staff in listing and selling their properties. In 2001, Beth made the transition from “Snowbird” to a full-time resident of Bonita Springs and continues to be a top producer in the area.
Sue Ellen Mathers was previously affiliated with Keller Williams Elite Realty. Prior to moving to Florida in 2005, Sue Ellen was involved in commercial real estate for over twenty years in New York. As well as sustaining a successful real estate career, Sue Ellen is also the Director of Project Development for Southland Group where she assists in turning fledging businesses around. She has an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s School of Management and now utilizes her communication and organizational skills coupled with strong financial and negotiating know-how to benefit her real estate clients.
Annette Villano was previously affiliated with Prudential. Like many Northerners, Annette and her family were ready to trade in their snow shovel and heavy coats for sunny weather perfect for horseback riding and beautiful beaches. Since moving to the Naples area almost 10 years ago, Annette has been working in the real estate industry and been a successful, full-time realtor for several years.
Greg & Ginger Lewis were previously affiliated with Keller Williams Elite Realty. Together, Greg and Ginger rank among the top five percent of sales associates of the Bonita Springs-Estero Association of Realtors. A graduate from the University of Georgia, Ginger has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and is also an interior designer; her expertise in both fields provides a valuable asset to the Lewis’ clients. With a Bachelor of Science degree and Juris Doctor Degree, Greg left the healthcare industry to become a three time winner of the prestigious and coveted “Golden BEAR” award.
Robert Nemec was previously affiliated with Keller Williams Elite Realty. With a Bachelor’s degree in business from Loyal University in Chicago, Bob started out in banking and then selling technology to financial institutions for 25 years. Today, he has found that being a real estate professional has been a very rewarding career change as sales and serving his customers has always been his passion and real estate gives him great opportunities to meet so many wonderful people.
Cory Lauer was former owner and broker of Assist 2 Sell of Bonita. Cory became a licensed real estate professional in 2001 and quickly gained success earning “Rookie of the Year” honors. In 2004, he earned his broker’s license and opened a successful real estate franchise. Cory has been honored for four consecutive years as one of the top brokers in the immediate area based on sales volume and closed transactions and he is on track to do it again in 2012. Recently, he as earned his Community Association Manager license to better understand the ins and outs of homeowner and condo associations.
Jayne Bockholt was affiliated with Assist 2 Sell of Bonita Springs and after two and a half years she is still part of the Cory Lauer Team. Originally, from Wisconsin, Jayne has worked in customer service related fields for many years and began her real estate career in 2002 working with both rentals and sales.
Rick Walkenhorst is currently the Regional Sales Manager for Royal Shell. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1975 with a Bachelor’s in Business Management and began his real estate and appraisal career shortly thereafter as a practicing sale/leasing agent and appraiser for a commercial brokerage firm. After a few years of practical experience, he was hired to lead operations and developed educational materials for a national real estate appraisal trade association of nearly 3,000 designated appraisers. In 1986, he began teaching at Hondros College and became the facility advisor for the school’s real estate and appraisal program. He has also authored, co-authored, edited, and provided materials to many real estate text books, including Ohio's Department of Commerce "Instructor's Manual to The Appraisal of Real Property" for the College of Business at Ohio State University.
