Resources Real Estate To Open Monmouth Beach Office

1326387195Resources Real Estate, Monmouth County’s premier independent boutique real estate office in Rumson, NJ, announced plans to open a new branch office in Monmouth Beach, NJ, in early 2012. This will be Resources’ second location and will located at 36 Beach Road, on the main street in town.

“While other companies are closing offices, we’re thrilled to be opening new ones,” said Carolynn Ozar Diakon who started the company in 2000. “Why? Despite Monmouth County home sales still being down, we continue to do better -- our single-family home sales increased by over 42% in 2011. Why wouldn’t we expand when we have that success?”

While overall residential sales were up in Monmouth Beach slightly in 2011, Diakon believes there’s room for more growth. “Resources played a role in the town’s gains with recent sales on Bayonne and Riverdale Avenues, as well as several properties currently under contract, but there’s a lot of inventory that’s not selling,” said Diakon. “We think we can change that.”

1326387261“Our success is driven by our intense commitment to knowing the market and helping our clients achieve their goals through superior marketing,” said Thomas McCormack, who will be managing the new office. “We see an opportunity in Monmouth Beach and we’re excited: for an agency willing to price correctly, educate the consumer, and ensure that their clients are making informed decisions, this presents a great opportunity.”

McCormack joined Resources as an agent in 2002 and became Diakon’s business partner in late 2010. “We believe that offering Monmouth Beach homeowners a better choice when choosing a real estate professional will ultimately benefit the consumer,” he said.

Diakon, herself a former Ocean Avenue resident, announced that many of the agents who will be working in the new location include current and former town residents, Patricia Cahill, Patrice Cicalese-Carden, and Dennis Soboti, as well as nearby north Long Branch residents Patricia Bennett and Jessica Johnston. Additional agent announcements are to be released in coming weeks.

Diakon and McCormack reported Resources Real Estate’s flagship office at 112 East River Road in Rumson is also in growth mode having recently added five new agents to their roster and completing a full interior re-design of their offices.
