August 14, 2006; Orinda, Calif. –Alain Pinel Realtors (APR) President Larry Knapp announced today that Lori Legler, one of the most successful East Bay residential real estate sales and service providers, was appointed manager of the company's Orinda office. “Lori Legler enjoys a sterling reputation within the Lamorinda community, the East Bay real estate industry and among the Alain Pinel Realtors family. Her understanding of the real estate business and what it takes to be successful in it will be of great value to everyone in the office,” said Larry Knapp. Ms. Legler will oversee a staff of 36 sales professionals in the Orinda office of APR and manage day-to-day operations for the firm serving Orinda, Lafayette, Moraga and nearby communities where agents from the firm represent home buyers and sellers of residential real estate. Her duties include recruiting, screening and interviewing local area real estate professionals who express interest in joining Alain Pinel Realtors. In addition, she will continue to serve her many clients on the purchase and sale of their homes. Prior to joining Alain Pinel Realtors, Ms. Legler was affiliated with Prudential/Jon Douglas and earlier, Century 21- Beaubelle & Associates. Throughout her career, she has been a top 5 percent sales producer with all of the firms she represented. She is a member of the Contra Costa Association of Realtors and California Association of Realtors. Ms. Legler holds the professional designations of Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES). She is involved (and is a past president) with Contra Costa Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), an organization devoted to assisting abused and neglected children. She is originally from the Midwest, where she earned a degree in Psychology and Social Work from the University of Wisconsin before moving to the Bay Area in 1977.
