1325700885Instead of stumbling over your unused computer, printer, fax machine, or television, or hand shredding those important documents, Surterre Properties® invites anyone with these and other unwanted electronics and paper to drive through the Laguna Beach School District parking lot (550 Blumont, corner of Park Avenue/Blumont) on Saturday, January 14, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and drop off these landfill “no-no’s”. This is a free service with no forms to complete and guests won’t even need to get out of their car.

Surterre Properties agents and volunteers will collect the eWaste and deliver them to a recycling center. Earth Resource Foundation, an environmental, educational non-profit organization developed to empower the general public with the resources needed to make environmentally sustainable choices and changes, is the beneficiary. Eco-friendliness is made easier, thanks to Surterre Properties. In addition, ProShred will be on-hand to take care of any of your paper shredding needs, and they will recycle the final shredded materials.

“Our commitment to our environment and to local organizations that are trying to spread the word is unwavering,” explains Paula Ansara-Wilhelm, Chief Marketing Officer of the premier Newport Beach-based luxury real estate firm. “Surterre Properties agents have sought out ways that we can get more involved and the eWaste Collection Day is one result. In the process, we can generate attention for the Earth Resource Foundation while disposing of unwanted electronics in a safe and productive way.”

Eco-friendly and recycled materials – including a reclaimed conference table and low emissions paint and finishes – were utilized in every aspect of the creation of Surterre’s Newport Beach and Laguna Beach locations. Eco-friendly doesn’t mean sacrificing taste and luxury, and Surterre Properties is blazing the trail in Orange County to spread that message.

Surterre Properties’ agents provide personal service and attention to a discerning clientele. By calling on nature to capture the essence of the brand, Surterre Properties’ award-winning in-house creative advertising studio works closely with its clients to deliver memorable and beautiful details about each home. The combination of the technological outlets they use to communicate, along with their personalized attention, further accentuates the essence of Surterre Properties.
