1323194131SEATTLE, WA. (December 1, 2011) – Executives at Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty have appointed Sean Nielsen as the newest Associate Broker in the expanding downtown Seattle branch office. Nielsen specializes in relocating clients from suburban homes to condominiums in the city, an increasing market trend as greater liquidity returns to the local housing market.

“Sean has demonstrated the capability to not just survive but thrive as a successful broker during the housing correction,” says Stacy Jones, Owner and Vice President of Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty. “As the market improves, he will be well positioned within our Brand to build market share for his business and for our collective brokerage. Sean will also expand his reach to represent buyers and sellers out-of-state as he leverages our expansive global realty network.”

Jones says the in-city housing market is recovering quickly with more than half of the remaining new construction and resale condominiums sold in the past twenty months while no new condo projects are in the pipeline. “We anticipate a rebound in the resale market as rents rise and the new construction inventory continues to sell through over the next year or so,” adds Jones. “Attracting talented resale brokers like Sean further establishes our firm as a resale brokerage.”

Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty continues to specialize in new construction sales and marketing representing three of the four remaining high-rise developments in downtown Seattle that include Fifteen Twenty One Second Avenue, Olive 8 and The Four Season’s Private Residences.

“I’ve been very impressed with the accomplishments of Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty over such a short time in the marketplace,” said Nielsen. “I feel well aligned with the firm’s growth plans and I plan on making significant contributions to their expanding resale division.”
