More than 350 guests attended the event sponsored by closing attorney firm Campbell & Brannon and held at 3958 Tuxedo Road in Buckhead, where guests were treated to catering by Local 3 restaurant and music by The Whiskey Gentry.

Founder Glennis Beacham called it "a blessing" to be five years old given the challenging real estate market of the last five years. Despite the circumstances, the company has managed to increase its sales every year in existence and anticipates closing more than 300 homes in 2011 worth a combined $275 million, what would be a 30 percent increase in dollar volume sold from 2010. Two sales this year, one for $11.5 million and the other for $9 million, were the second and third highest sales for residential property in Atlanta MLS history.

"I am so thankful and grateful to the people who have made the success of this company possible," Beacham said. "My name is on the company, but our agents and employees are the reason we continue to set new milestones every year. I am so proud of them and what we have accomplished together. We have created a fun, dynamic place to work. I look forward to the next five years and achieving new milestones for all of us."

Beacham opened the firm on Nov. 9, 2006 following a 13-year run at Atlanta's oldest and largest real estate firm, where she was the top agent companywide each year. She started the firm with three agents and now has more than 70 licensees who are the most productive by annual dollar volume sold than any other firm in metro Atlanta. Since its founding, the company has maintained its position as the top office in Buckhead in numerous categories, including dollar volume of listings sold, average sales price, and sales of homes for more than $3 million.

One of the keys to success for the company has been The Beacham Series, a coffee table-quality magazine produced in-house by Beacham's daughter Blayne since 2007. The magazine has garnered international acclaim and awards from the real estate community in its first four years in publication and has helped establish Beacham & Company as the top luxury real estate office in Buckhead. Published twice a year, the magazine is shipped to more than 20,000 affluent Atlantans and luxury real estate firms around the world. More than 70 percent of the homes featured in the last issue of the magazine were sold before the fall issue was published.

The company's fifth anniversary party marked the debut of the twelfth issue of The Beacham Series. The party was held at the cover home located in the Tuxedo Park neighborhood of Buckhead. Listed for sale at $3,950,000, the cover home is an Italian villa-style residence designed by Bobby McAlpine and built by Bonner Construction in 1998.

"Our cover home was a wonderful venue for the fifth anniversary party," Beacham said. "The setting was both charming and stylish. We were overwhelmed with positive feedback and are so pleased to make it the venue of our fifth anniversary party."

When asked to forecast the next five years for her company and the residential real estate market, Beacham predicted Atlanta home sales will continue to grow but may not reach the peak of 2007 for some time.

"We are very fortunate to serve Buckhead and many of the most desirable areas of Atlanta," Beacham said. "Economists report that the affluent market will do well over the next five years so we feel well-positioned to grow our business because we have superior agents and marketing."
