1320778901(ASPEN, CO, November 1, 2011) – Mason Morse Real Estate, a leading independent firm since 1961, today announced its affiliation with the Coldwell Banker system. In addition, Coldwell Banker The Aspen Brokers will merge into Coldwell Banker Mason Morse to create one of largest real estate firms in Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley. The announcement was made today at the Aspen Meadows with Coldwell Banker Real Estate president and chief operating officer Budge Huskey in attendance.

The combined Coldwell Banker Mason Morse now has more than 60 sales associates who completed sales in excess of $440 million over the last year. Mason Morse’s Bob Starodoj will continue as owner/chief executive officer of Coldwell Banker Mason Morse while Jane Moy, who previously led Coldwell Banker The Aspen Brokers, will return to her roots as one of the region’s top real estate agents.

“For 50 years we have maintained our independence, yet we realized that affiliation with Coldwell Banker was an important step in our growth strategy,” Starodoj said. “Through the Coldwell Banker Previews International marketing program, we now have a unique opportunity to work with sales professionals in some of the most affluent markets in the nation and the world, which is critically important to us as Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley continue to gain in stature internationally."

“We have long admired the Coldwell Banker brand and have marveled at how a 105-year “young” brand continues to set the bar so high in our industry when it comes to innovation,” Starodoj continued. “Coldwell Banker has been on the forefront of bringing video into the real estate mainstream with its On Location channel, based on its partnership with Google and YouTube. The brand also has a relationship with Apple and was the first brand in our industry to have an iPad app and to utilize the iAd advertising mechanism.”

“This new relationship, combined with our national and international affiliations such as the exclusive Board of Regents, governing body of Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate, will further enhance our worldwide reach and relationships with the many international clientele who visit Aspen/Snowmass and the Roaring Fork Valley,” said Brian Hazen, Vice President of Sales at Mason Morse and Executive Committee Member of the Board of Regents.

Coldwell Banker Mason Morse has five offices in Aspen, Carbondale, Glenwood Springs and Redstone.
