16th Annual Luxury Real Estate Fall Conference

The 16th Annual Luxury Real Estate Fall Conference was recently held Monday, October 10th to Wednesday, October 12th, at the Grand Del Mar. Keynote Speakers included Robert Frank, wealth columnist with the Wall Street Journal and Joe Stumpf, of By Referral Only.
The conference was hosted by John Brian Losh, Chairman/Publisher of Luxury Real Estate, (LuxuryRealEstate.com and Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate), a membership-driven luxury brokerage assemblage based in Seattle, Washington. The network includes the most prominent global luxury brokers and meets three times each year, nationally and internationally, to discuss current real estate trends.
Discussions covered multiple topics of great interest to those who serve the high net-worth demographic. Featured speaker Robert Frank gave a particularly timely presentation about the role of the high net-worth in economic boom and bust. Frank writes the Wall Street Journal’s Wealth Report, a blog focused on the culture and economy of the wealthy. He is also author of the bestselling book “Richistan” and the forthcoming book “The High-Beta Rich. A full day of meetings for the Board of Regents followed the conference, as well as a Vacation Rental Forum for luxury real estate members specializing in the luxury rental market.
The presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to Robbie Briggs of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty was a highlight of the event. This prestigious award is given to Luxury Real Estate members who set an example for the real estate industry and display excellence throughout their career. “Robbie is a leader in the industry and a true humanitarian,” states John Brian Losh, “and we are honored to give him this award”.
