LAKE TAHOE, NV (August 2011) – Trinkie Watson was recently named a Paul Harris Fellow by the Rotary Club of Truckee. The recognition, bestowed through Rotary International, is one of the organization’s highest honors.
Watson, a Realtor® with Chase International, was selected by local Rotary members for her longtime involvement in various community projects. She has been serving on the Lake Tahoe Music Festival Board of Directors for more than 20 years and is currently the organization’s Vice President. She also works with the Tahoe Forest Hospital’s Cancer Advisory Council and Best of Tahoe Chefs, and previously worked with the Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation.
“I understand I’m in the company of some great community contributors, not just locally, but nationally,” said Watson, who is not a Rotary member. “I’m incredibly honored.”
The Rotary Club of Truckee contributes to the Paul Harris Foundation in order to recognize community members who have gone above and beyond the call of duty. The Foundation is named after the founder of Rotary International.
