First, TextLong is a new program that allows prospective homebuyers to get information on any listing in the local MLS from their cell phone via text message. Consumers simply text the word LONG to the number 59559 and instantly receive property information including price. Users are also provided a link where they can find full property information and see all the photos, right from their phone.
Consumers with an iPhone or Android based phone are given an additional option to find properties nearby their location via the GPS function in their Smartphone. Long Realty listings will feature sign riders advertising the service. At the same time, Long Realty has announced a new feature on its mobile website for finding nearby properties using the GPS function of Smartphone. The mobile version of the company website can be accessed by just visiting www.longrealty.com from your Smartphone.
