DENVER – The Kentwood Company at Cherry Creek recently hosted its bi-annual party for clients and friends during the “Zoo Lights” event at the Denver Zoo. More than 1,600 people attended the special evening on December 5, 2010. Attendees enjoyed dancers from Cherry Creek Dance and a warming station where Kentwood clients enjoyed cocoa, cider, and tasty homemade cookies.
“One of the best things about this event was seeing the faces of the children light up as they approached the beautiful light exhibits,” said Gretchen Faber, Managing Broker of The Kentwood Company at Cherry Creek. “The party is our way of thanking our clients for another great year and for their business. Offering a fun event of this nature also highlights one of Denver’s great cultural treasures. The Denver Zoo is truly among the best in the country, and the Zoo Lights event is very special.”
The Zoo Lights event ran from December 10, 2010 through January 2, 2011. The holiday light “safari” featured more than 38 brilliantly illuminated acres of lights with more than 150 animated animal sculptures that swing through trees, jump across lawns, hide in bushes and appear in places where they’re least expected.
The lights are comprised 100 percent of LED lights, which use only a fraction of the energy of conventional bulbs and are much better for the environment. Most of the animals at the Denver Zoo could be viewed during the event.
