The Ogilvies, who are the firm’s top-producing team of agents, also represented the buyer of the property.

The West Indies inspired home—located on Norsota Way—sold last Friday (January 14, 2011) for $5.9 million; making it the highest sale of the year thus far in Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte Counties.

Built in 2009 and recently featured in Sarasota Magazine’s Home & Garden Issue, the property includes 7,931 square feet under air. In addition to its sophisticated design, superb construction and brilliantly executed interiors the property includes deep water harborage, a separate guest house and a dramatic skyline view of downtown Sarasota and the Ringling Bridge across a wide expanse of open water.
