Ellen Purdy, Property Manager for Harbor Bay Realty’s Property Management Department, was recently re-elected to the Board of Directors of the Alameda-Contra Costa Chapter of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM). Purdy is serving her third term as Treasurer for the Association and prior to that served as Secretary.
Founded in 1991, the Alameda-Contra Costa Chapter of NARPM is an association of professional residential property managers serving the Bay Area. The Association promotes a high standard of business ethics, professionalism, and fair housing practices. Its members specialize in the management of single family homes, condominiums and apartment complexes.
Additionally, Purdy was elected to the Board of Directors of the California State Chapter of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (CALNARPM). She is serving as Education Chair. “The State Convention scheduled in March will combine with the Hawaii and Nevada chapters and promises to be the best yet,” said Purdy. “Valuable workshops, informative panel presentations, and hands-on activities designed to impart practical and comprehensive industry knowledge will make us more effective professionals.”
