Aspen, Colorado. Throughout the summer months of 2010, non-profit organizations publicized their community messages and activities in a tent donated by Mason Morse Real Estate at the weekly Aspen Saturday Market.
Mason Morse donated their tent and location at no charge to non-profits. The firm also promoted each non-profit in their Mason Morse Insert wrapped around the Aspen Times on Fridays, and displayed the non-profit of the week on a sandwich sign located on the front stoop of its Aspen office. Non profit organizations raised funds, recruited volunteers, spread their messages or promoted their respective organizations.
Non-profits that participated throughout the summer months included Shining Stars Foundation, Independence Pass Foundation, Aspen Historical Society, Theatre Aspen, For the Forest, Aspen Camp for Deaf, Wildwood School, Buddy Program, Aspen Valley Horse Rescue, Mountain Rescue Aspen, Aspen Hope Center, Aspen Education Foundation, Early Learning Fund, Raising a Reader, AVSC, Valley Partnership, Wilderness Workshop, Aspen Junior Hockey, and Aspen Community Theatre.
Mason Morse plans to continue this community service at the 2011 Aspen Saturday Market, thanks in part to positive feedback from beneficiaries.
