1291742377(TUCSON, ARIZ.) Long Realty Cares Foundation collected $16,000 during their third-annual “Ticket To Care” Raffle. All proceeds from the raffle directly benefit the work of the Foundation, which provides meaningful financial support to organizations throughout Southern Arizona.

The raffle, which kicked off on September 24, consisted of 10 prize packages that included golf and vacation stays, salon and spa treatments, various dining certificates to local restaurants, and more. All prizes were donated to the raffle and included everything from vacation stays and golf getaways, to dining certificates and monetary gift cards.

The prizes were awarded November 3 during a special event at Cushing Street Bar & Restaurant that featured live entertainment provided by Chavez, Hallowell & Long, with special guest John Turi. Cushing Street also donated a portion of sales from the event’s signature drink, a prickly pear margarita aptly dubbed the “Longarita.”

“We are so excited to have reached our goal of raising $16,000 from the Ticket To Care Raffle,” said Long Realty Cares Foundation President of the Board Susan Barry. “This event was only possible through the support of our wonderful Long Realty agents and employees, and the generous prize donations from local businesses. The finale event was extra special, and we’d like to thank Cushing Street Bar & Restaurant for donating the venue and becoming a pivotal piece in planning the big evening.”

“It was such a great pleasure chairing this event,” added Raffle Committee Chairwoman Pam ‘PJ’ Jacquemain. “Having the support of our top-of-the-line Raffle Committee members made the entire fundraiser and finale a huge success.”

Since its inception in 2002, the Foundation has raised over $1.7 million dollars for over 170 different local non-profit charitable organizations.

About Long Realty Cares Foundation

Long Realty Cares Foundation was established in 2002 to provide a venue for Long Realty sales associates and employees to collectively enhance the quality of life in Arizona.
