Bank of the West has committed in providing $7,500 in support to provide Thanksgiving Dinner for hundreds of kids at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tucson. Due to the economic downturn, Boys & Girls Clubs of Tucson eliminated several key programs, including special events like Thanksgiving Dinner. The event draws about 100 kids to each of the clubs to enjoy dinner with their families and friends.

Bank of the West is also providing volunteers, who are employees from their branches to help serve dinner to the Clubhouse members and their families who attend each year. It is a great way for volunteers to see how the funds help many of these children and their families that cannot provide the traditional dinner because of the tough times they are going through. Without the financial support of businesses or individuals our Clubhouse Members would not get to enjoy the Clubs’ special events that help bring families together.

Each Club has a different time and date posted for the event. For more information please contact John McDowell at 573-3533.
