Lila Delman Real Estate Sells High Point Estate and Carriage House in Charlestown, Rhode Island

1288108028“Hight Point” and its Carriage House were both sold to a single buyer on October 5, 2010. The combined sale price totaled $3,100,000. Lila Delman Real Estate Realtor® Mary Philbin represented the buyer. The collective purchase represents the highest sale by a single buyer in Charlestown this year.

“High Point” and the Carriage House, originally part of the same estate, are located on Ninigret Pond. Built in 1900, the house is fashioned after a Normandy Chateau, which the original owners occupied in France. It includes a magnificent stone boat house, which at one time housed a one-lane bowling alley, along with a stone fireplace.
