Zephyr Launches Comprehensive Social Media Program for Realtors

San Francisco, CA – October 13, 2010 – Zephyr Real Estate is once again at the forefront of real estate technology, launching a robust social media program for its agents.
“We maintain active profiles on the major social media sites like Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, of course. However, we recognized that many of our sales associates were too busy to do the same,” said Randall Kostick, Chief Operating Officer at Zephyr Real Estate. “They’re busy interacting with clients, showing properties, preparing offers, and selling property, just as they should be. We decided it was time to bridge the gap for our agents’ social media presence.”
In order to achieve that goal, Zephyr has developed both curriculum and services to facilitate social media at the agent level.
Ongoing trainings and recurring webinars are held for the do-it-yourself agents who are already actively engaged in the online social community. Topics include social media etiquette, creating and maintaining profiles, and content inspiration. The goal is to provide Zephyr clients meaningful content through Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
Zephyr also has a new service, Social Media Concierge, which assists agents in managing their social media presence. Components include a dashboard interface for updating all profiles simultaneously, continually updated content, links, data and topic inspiration, and dedicated staff to facilitate the process.
“Our agents are among the most productive in the City, so it’s important to us to offer services that free up their time yet maintain high visibility with clients,” commented Melody Foster-Brown, Director of Marketing at Zephyr, who has been leading the ongoing webinar trainings. “Connecting with clients is a critical part of the business, and with our new concierge program, we’re able to help them develop those connections online while they continue to maintain relationships in person.”
