International Relocation Growth Triggers Designation

Monmouth County, New Jersey has been seeing a steady growth in international relocation assignments coming into the area. Worldwide ERC, a professional membership association comprised of individuals concerned with global workforce mobility, recently announced that Karolyn Wray, CRP, Vice President Relocation, Murphy Realty Preferred Homes has recently earned the Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) designation.

“Our company has seen a strong increase in international assignments and our relocation division now credits at least 30% to international movement. Because of this trend I felt the need to further educate myself and achieve this important designation,” states Karolyn Wray, a 16-year veteran in real estate and relocation. “We have assisted people from Brazil, China, Germany, the Netherlands, and France, just to name a few, and they have many different requirements than a state or national assignment."

The GMS program consists of a series of courses and exams to formally recognize an individual’s competency in global workforce mobility and requires awareness of the various types of international assignment policies and practices, tax and immigration issues, intercultural implications on international assignments, serving diverse markets, and global teamwork.

Murphy Realty Preferred Homes has five regional marketing centers throughout Monmouth and Northern Ocean Counties, serving local, national and international buyers and sellers.  For more information, call 888-687-7494.
