1279061641FAR HILLS — John "Jack" Turpin brokered home sales for John Delorean and the King of Morocco. The seats of his 1978 Chevrolet Caprice Classic once held the likes of John Travolta, Olivia Newton John and Ralph Lauren. He completed some of the biggest residential real estate deals in New Jersey history.

But he did so with a demeanor that was both humble and affable and a passion that was as much for the history and preservation of Somerset Hills’ sprawling estates and opulent mansions as for the customers he served.
