Michelle Sandlin, Director of Global Relocation Services at John Daugherty, Realtors recently attended the Spring RDC (Relocation Directors Council) and the Worldwide ERC (Employee Relocation Council) conferences at the Walt Disney World Swan Dolphin Resort in Orlando, Florida. Sandlin served on the Planning Committee for the RDC Conference and was responsible for putting together a group of industry experts for a panel discussion, which she moderated on the impact of distressed sales on the real estate market. The theme of this year’s RDC Conference was “The New 3 Rs – Rebound, Rebuild and Reposition.” As an active member of RDC, Sandlin also serves on the Communication Committee and on the Web Site Committee.
Sandlin is also a contributing author for Mobility magazine, which is the monthly publication of the Worldwide ERC. This year Sandlin serves on the Editorial Advisory Committee for the magazine, which will give her additional opportunities to pen articles on issues that are importation to the relocation industry.
“I always enjoy attending and participating in the many opportunities available through RDC and Worldwide ERC. It provides me with excellent opportunities for the exchange of ideas, information and industry best practices, all of which I incorporate into my Relocation Training and Certification Program at John Daugherty, Realtors,” says Sandlin.
