Spring 2010 Issue of the Beacham Series Debuts at $12 Million Buckhead Estate

Posted by Dac Carver — May 10, 2010

ATLANTA - The spring issue of "The Beacham Series" recently debuted at an elegant cocktail party in the gardens of the magazine's cover home located at 981 Davis Drive in North 1276664597Buckhead. Some of Atlanta's top real estate agents and clients of Beacham & Company, REALTORS were treated to hors d'oeurves and wine while touring the Beaux arts estate, which is listed for $12 million.

The magazine's first issue of 2010 marks the fourth year of publication for The Beacham Series (http://www.thebeachamseries.com/), an exclusive publication of Beacham & Company that is mailed to the most affluent homeowners in metro Atlanta. The spring issue showcases $196 million in Atlanta residential real estate with an average listing price of more than $3 million.

The cover photo of the spring issue features a simple table in a quiet glade that overlooks the gardens where the magazine release party was held. Beacham & Company owner and founder, Glennis Beacham, said the selection of the cover photo and the tone of the spring issue represent an effort to "lighten the mood" in Atlanta real estate following a difficult year for the market in 2009.

"We wanted a refreshing photograph that would welcome the spring and summer months," Beacham said."The cover photo invites you to turn the page, take a deep breath, and marvel at the architectural beauty that we enjoy in Atlanta."

The cover home offers some of the best evidence of the architectural gems found in Buckhead real estate. The 2008 Shutze Award recipient was designed by Jim Strickland of Historical 1276664597Concepts (http://www.historicalconcepts.com/) and built by John Berndsen of Berndsen Custom Homes (http://www.berndsencompany.com/). Both were present at the magazine release party, as were many of Atlanta’s top bloggers and social networking celebrities, who learned about the party through Beacham & Company’s blog, www.thisphotographerslife.com. Camille Brannon of the Buckhead-based closing firm Campbell & Brannon, LLC (http://www.campbellandbrannon.com/) sponsored the party. Campbell & Brannon is the preferred provider of title and closing services for Beacham & Company.

The Beacham Series is published twice a year and has a distribution of more than 20,000. The magazine is mailed to households with incomes of $200,000 or more and home values of $700,000 or more in metro Atlanta's most affluent neighborhoods. In addition, the magazine is mailed to more than 1,000 top real estate brokerage firms around the world.
