(TUCSON, AZ.) – Rosey Koberlein, CEO of Long Companies, is a recipient of the YWCA’s 2010 Women on the Move Award.
Koberlein was among 12 remarkable Tucson women honored by the YWCA during the 28th annual event at the Westin La Paloma. The women were recognized for their special achievements in the workplace and the community and their support for the mission of the YWCA – eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice and dignity for all.
The winners were selected from over 53 nominations and each received a bronze statuette commemorating their honor.
Koberlein plays an active role in the Tucson community and currently serves on the board of directors for the Pima County Real Estate Research Council, Carondelet Foundation, and the Tucson Association of REALTORS Multiple Listing Service. She is also on the board of directors of Realty Alliance, a national organization made up of more than 135 of the country’s most elite real estate firms.
Koberlein is an active member of the Southern Arizona Leadership Council, Women at the Top (WATT), and is a proud participant in the Long Realty Cares Foundation, an organization that provides a venue for Long Realty sales associates and employees to collectively enhance the quality of life in Arizona.
In addition to her local commitments, Koberlein frequently speaks at the national level, on topics ranging from real estate to mortgage and title issues.
A Pennsylvania native, Koberlein resides in Tucson’s Foothills area, where she enjoys cooking, walking her dog, Sadie, and taking pride in the success of her employees’ professional and personal lives.
