Woods Award is presented annually by Long Realty Company to one sales associate who best exemplifies a commitment to the values of community involvement and “service above self.” Such values were the hallmark of one of Long Realty’s most distinguished former members, Sam Woods.

Each year, a donation is made to the Samuel H. Woods Memorial Scholarship Fund in the name of the award recipient, administered through the University of Arizona Foundation; this Foundation awards a scholarship to a deserving University of Arizona student in the area of Regional Land Development in the Department of Geography.

Dorais, an agent who works out of Long Realty’s Foothills office, has been active in several local charities, including acting as a volunteer in many capacities at the Ara Parseghian Medical Research Foundation for the past 15 years. Mary has also served on the board of directors for six years at Emerge, a local shelter for abused women and children. She is a past board member of the Ronald McDonald House and the Volunteer Center of Tucson.
