Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers Announces President-Elect

1276664412San Francisco, CA – February 22, 2010 – The Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers (CRB) has announced its new President-Elect, Brian Matza of Zephyr Real Estate-San Francisco.

The CRB Council is a not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of Realtors®, and the premier industry organization for managers, brokers and owners. For more than 40 years, the Council has helped real estate professionals adapt to the complex challenges of delivering quality service, streamlining operations, integrating new technology and innovating business strategies (www.crb.com). The CRB designation is one of the oldest and most respected in the industry. Its Mission Statement is:

Brian Matza is a native son of San Francisco where he has been a Real Estate Broker since 1984. At Zephyr Real Estate, he represents clients in the sale and acquisition of probate/estate, small commercial, residential and income properties. He previously was the broker-owner of Evans Pacific Realtor, a downtown San Francisco residential and commercial brokerage. He also operated Intercapitol Mortgage Inc., a mortgage company that secured loans for residential and commercial property. In the early 2000's he managed the San Francisco office of SOMA Living, a start-up high tech/high touch buyer brokerage started. Matza majored in Industrial Organizational Psychology as a graduate student at San Francisco State University.

Matza is a Licensed General Contractor in two states (California #937366 and Oregon #117896) and owner of Nob Hill Realty LLC in Portland Oregon. He has been acquiring apartment buildings for his own account and for clients in the Portland area since 1990. He has vast experience in evaluating, managing, renovation and sales/acquisition in the area of residential income properties.

Matza has acted on behalf of clients as an expert witness in real estate related court cases. He has consulted in the areas of real estate brokerage management, strategic planning, training and development and has provided advice on construction related issues. He has also written nationally published articles related to real estate brokerage management and income property management. He has earned the designations of CRB, ABR, CRS and e-PRO, has been a member of local and national real estate committees and maintains memberships in many business and social organizations.
