Zephyr Real Estate Launches Annual Community Toy and Food Drives

San Francisco, CA – December 7, 2009 – ‘Tis the season for giving and sharing and this year, more than ever, the need is great in San Francisco. Zephyr Real Estate, San Francisco’s largest independent real estate firm, is again participating in the annual holiday drives for both toys and food to benefit those in need. Two worthy local organizations dedicated to serving those less fortunate, San Francisco Firefighters’ Toy Program and the San Francisco Food Bank, will distribute the bounty collected by Zephyr.

“It’s been a difficult year for everyone though with hope on the horizon, we want to share our abundance and efforts with those whose holidays may not be so bright,” stated Randall Kostick, Chief Operating Officer for Zephyr. “Our team is very dedicated to this cause and, as in years past, will do as much as possible to give back to others and fill the barrels to overflowing,” he added.

Everyone is encouraged to join in the company-wide drive by bringing donations to a Zephyr location during business hours. Toys should be new and unused without gift-wrapping. Food items should be non-perishable.

Donation barrels are located in each of Zephyr’s six locations throughout San Francisco. Toys will be collected at all offices through December 22. Food donations will be accepted at all locations through December 29, with the Upper Market, Castro, Noe Valley, and West Portal offices continuing through December 30, and the Pacific Heights branch continuing until January 8, 2010.
