Long%20Realty%20Cares%20Foundation(TUCSON, Ariz.) The Long Realty Cares Foundation is holding its annual Ticket to Care Raffle from September 9 to November 20, 2009. All raffle proceeds will benefit the work of the Foundation which financially supports the efforts of non-profit organizations across Southern Arizona.

Prize packages total more than $13,000 and will help to carry on the proud philanthropic tradition of the Long Realty Companies — which has provided meaningful financial support to more than 160 organizations in southern Arizona since the Foundation’s inception in 2002.

Packages include golf and overnight stays in local resorts, dining certificates to more than a dozen local restaurants, a home makeover package, and vacation stays on the beach. The Ticket to Care Raffle drawing will take place on November 20 at the Foothills Mall, in the east parking lot, where last minute tickets may be purchased and food or donations can be dropped off for the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona.

Long Realty Cares Foundation President Susan Barry says the raffle will help to generate the funds needed to expand the impact of the foundation.

“The Ticket to Care Raffle provides a great opportunity for the public to get involved in supporting the efforts of the Long Realty Cares Foundation. 100% of the money raised from ticket sales will go directly into the community to support local charities. We’re very excited about the amazing prizes being offered this year, and we are grateful to all the local businesses who have donated their services as prizes for the raffle. Their willingness to support the foundation’s efforts to improve our community is what makes this fundraiser possible. ” Barry said.

Single raffle tickets are $15, two tickets are $20, or 12 may be purchased for $100. Tickets are available for purchase at all Long Realty branch offices or by calling Long Realty Cares Foundation Administrator Michelle Salvagio at 520.918.3757.

About Long Realty Cares Foundation

Long Realty Cares Foundation was established in 2002 to expand the philanthropic activities of the Long Realty Companies and to provide a venue for our sales associates and employees to collectively enhance the quality of life in Arizona. As our company evolves, it is distinguishing itself by building a legacy of philanthropy. To date, more than $1.5 million dollars in support have been donated to over 160 non-profit organizations in the communities in which we live and work, including Tucson, Green Valley, Sierra Vista and Marana. Foundation monies come from the many sales associates who voluntarily donate a portion of their commission from each real estate transaction and from Long Realty Companies employees who personally contribute to the Foundation. Many of our sales associates and employees go even further in their efforts to effect positive change; they make a commitment to serve local charitable organizations in a volunteer capacity. 520.918-3757. www.longrealtycares.com
