Prudential California Realty Adds Three Marin County OfficesPrudential California Realty announced it is merging three former independently owned offices in Marin County into the company. The merger is an extension of the company’s strategic plan to grow its existing footprint in Northern California. The branches, located in San Anselmo, Fairfax and Woodacre, bring the total count of the company’s Northern California branches to 47.

"We now have an important foothold in Marin County," said Sherry Chris, COO of Prudential California Realty. "The addition of these three offices, together with the Sausalito branch that opened last year, gives us a brand presence in a market where the average price of a detached home is above $900,000. That is a significant move for our company."

Prudential California Realty offers Marin agents and their clients the benefit of an industry leader and the marketing clout of the third largest real estate broker in the Bay Area. The company is known for its innovative agent-centric technology and training and provides clients with a Family of Services, a one-stop shop of mortgage, title, insurance, home warranty and environmental disclosure real estate transaction services.

The merger is a partnership between the company and a consortium of sales professionals led by Geoff Scowcroft and Peter Wolf, who will manage the three Marin County offices. It follows a new growth model that allows sales professionals to participate in branch ownership.

The consortium of sales professionals are former graduates of the Saint Mary’s College A. David Cobo Real Estate Leadership Certificate program. The program was designed by David Cobo, Prudential California Realty CEO to build agents’ leadership aspirations and insights and foster the mission, goals and culture of the company. It's the only program in the industry that offers a tailored college-level leadership certificate for agents that is totally separate from traditional real estate training.

"We’re excited about the opportunity to take these offices to the next level in serving the needs of Marin County," said Chris. "Geoff and Peter share our vision of providing a total customer experience. The market is always changing, but the basic tenet remains: the customer and their satisfaction are key to our success."

In 2005, Prudential California Realty opened or acquired Northern California offices in Pittsburg, Antioch, Hercules, Sebastopol and San Leandro.

The San Anselmo, Fairfax and Woodacre offices are located at 1604 Sir Francis Drake, 44 Bolinas Road, and 16 Park Street respectively.
