Luxury Real Estate 10th Annual Membership ConferenceTen years on the Web and one billion hits later, the Luxury Real Estate network and LuxuryRealEstate.com will host its 10th Annual Membership Conference in Seattle. On Sept. 24-27, 2005, John Brian Losh, CEO/Publisher of Luxury Real Estate, will bring together the world’s most elite brokers for the members-only conference.

“After a decade of networking, we are toasting our collective success!” he remarks. “Our luxury brokers have defied all the real estate bubble talk. In a couple of weeks, our members are convening to discuss their record-breaking sales for 2005. Mid-market home sales may be cooling, but luxury home sales are still on the rise.”

The Luxury Real Estate network consists of more than 700 boutique and specialty real estate brokerage firms that consistently sell in the top 10 percent of their markets. They come to the conference to discuss the latest luxury real estate trends, as well as network with one another to secure more multimillion-dollar referrals. “Luxury brokers spend their entire careers developing relationships with high-net-worth clients. Our conferences often result in referrals of significant proportions,” says Matthew Haber, Director of Luxury Real Estate.

The Willis Allen Company of San Diego is sending 28 representatives to the Seattle conference. When asked why they have chosen to make such a substantial commitment, Bud Clark, VP and Broker for Willis Allen, explained, “It’s twofold. First it is a great way to recognize our top performing agents. Secondly, some very impressive people are involved and I want to expose my agents to them. It is the perfect way to stay abreast of the global luxury real estate market.”

Speakers at the event will include Kirk Henckels and Rosita Sarnoff of Manhattan-based Stribling & Associates and Richard A. Weidel, Jr., President of The Weidel Group of New Jersey. Other conference program highlights include market-specific breakout sessions, discussion panels, round-table discussions and a Seattle property tour.

In celebration of LuxuryRealEstate.com’s 10th anniversary on the Web, an updated version of the Web site will be unveiled at the conference. The award-winning Web site www.LuxuryRealEstate.com currently provides access to more than 30,000 for-sale properties from around the world, with an average listing price of $2,650,000. It is the most-viewed luxury real estate Web site in the world, according to the Alexa Internet ranking service, and has been named “Best of the Web” by Forbes magazine for five consecutive years.
