Luxury Real Estate Establishes Katrina Relief Fund

Hurricane Katrina is thought to be the most destructive storm in history. In its devastating wake, thousands of victims in New Orleans and the central Gulf coast have been left stranded and in need of immediate food, water and medical care. Tens of thousands of people will be in need of temporary housing for months.Luxury Real Estate has responded to the catastrophe by establishing a Katrina Relief Fund to benefit the American Red Cross. As with its previous relief efforts, such as a Tsunami Relief fundraiser for the Red Cross, the company expects to make a significant donation. Members of Luxury Real Estate, a network of the world’s top brokers and agents, are being invited to contribute. Luxury Real Estate will also make a donation, and the collective contribution will be used to provide vital support to those who need it most.

Luxury Real Estate selected the American Red Cross as the beneficiary because the organization responded to Katrina by launching the largest-ever mobilization of resources for a single natural disaster. For more information about the American Red Cross's Disaster Relief Fund, visit redcross.org.

Luxury Real Estate members who would like to make a donation should send a check made out to Luxury Real Estate Katrina Relief Fund to:
