Wilmette-based Koenig & Strey GMAC Real Estate has announced the acquisition of ERA Doetsch Realty, which was founded by the Glenview-based Doetsch family in 1948. The current ERA Doetsch Realty team, including Matt Doetsch and his wife Janet and son Jerry, along with Jerry Mulick, Mark Heiman, Larry Yocus and Hardial Deol, will now operate out of the Glenview Koenig & Strey GMAC office at The Glen, located at 2630 Valor Road.

“Both Koenig & Strey GMAC and ERA Doetsch Realty are Glenview-family-founded companies with an immense knowledge of North Shore real estate and a long tradition of providing superior service to homebuyers and sellers,” said Doug Ayers, president of Koenig & Strey GMAC. “We’re excited that Matt Doetsch and his team are joining Koenig & Strey, and we look forward to the shared success this partnership will bring.”

According to Ayers, Koenig & Strey’s dynamic environment, forward-thinking mindset and commitment to implementing new technology initiatives are what attract well-respected brokerage firms like ERA Doetsch.

Koenig & Strey GMAC has more than 1,100 sales associates serving some of the finest communities in Chicago, the North Shore, Lake County and the western suburbs. Koenig & Strey GMAC Real Estate is an exclusive affiliate of Christie's Great Estates, the leading network of luxury international property brokers with more than 35,000 sales associates worldwide specializing in high-end homes.
