Alain Pinel Realtors Expands its Menlo Park, California Offices

Looking to increase market share in one of the richest real estate counties in the Western United States, Alain Pinel Realtors is expanding its Menlo Park office presence by leasing additional space in the city. It is the company's 25th office in Northern California.

APR has leased approximately 3,500 square feet of office space at 1550 El Camino Real and plans to occupy the space by September after interior improvements are completed. Some of the space will feature private offices for agents. The second Menlo Park office of APR will accommodate about 38 sales professionals, staff and administrators and principally serve Menlo Park, Atherton and Woodside.

Alain Pinel's original Menlo Park office is located at 620 Santa Cruz Avenue in the downtown district and staffed by 68 sales professionals. The company's long-time manager of that office, Mary Gebhardt, will also manage APR's new office on the El Camino. San Mateo County residential real estate sales are among the highest in the country, with Forbes magazine recently ranking Atherton as the nation's highest-priced zip code. And according to the Distinctive Homes & Estates (DH&E) Market Index produced by Alain Pinel Realtors and research firm Terradatum, during the second quarter this year 236 homes sold in San Mateo County for $1.5 million or more, up from 190 in the second quarter of 2004.

In recent months, Alain Pinel has opened offices in Livermore, the Montclair District of Oakland and the Almaden Valley area of San Jose. In addition to the two Menlo Park offices, APR has San Mateo County offices in Woodside, Half Moon Bay, San Mateo and Burlingame.
